The five elements in TCM. I’m dealing with it right now, so I might as well paint them. Many start the cycle with the element “wood”, because it stands for the new beginning. However, I already had the element “earth” half in mind, especially with the round shape. If it’s already so clear, then I might as well start with it. It was created very quickly – today I could feel how much the work from the last weeks was a kind of exercise. I didn’t have to “overcome” so much anymore, because I could simply estimate a lot of things better. After all, everything had already been rehearsed.
What was not so clear to me was the combination with the Orange. In the end, this area also became too secluded for me. But I can make friends with it. Especially because I like the yellow center so much. I suddenly understood in which way laughter belongs to this element (and not to fire): Because it has exactly this depth – laughter always comes from the deepest center of the body. Quite wonderful.
